Youth City CouncilThe Smithfield City Youth Council meets the first and third Thursday of every month at 8:30 p.m. Their meetings are held in the City Council chambers in the city office. Visitors and youth interested in becoming members are encouraged to attend meetings. Council Member Barbara Kent works with the Youth Council.
